Library Book of the Month

This month's book is 90 Minutes in Heaven by Don Piper with Cecil Murphey. Don Piper is a Baptist preacher who was involved in a horrific accident where his car was crushed by a semi. He was immediately declared dead and what was left of the car was covered with a tarp. During that 90 minutes he had the adventure of his death (life???)

During his time there, he meets relatives and friends who have died, hears the most "heavenly" music, and sees the most vibrant colors he cannot even describe. Another preacher, led by the Holy Spirit, goes to Piper's car, prays for him and he is suddenly alive and singing along with the preacher.

But that is not the end of the story. Go with him as he experiences the medical procedures, depression, aftermath of his accident, and possibly the reason for his returning among the living.
