Highlights of the Month
September will be a very busy month here at Campbellsburg Baptist Church. We have begun our Wednesday evening programs for the community's children and youth from 6 to 7 PM. This is open to all children and youth from kindergarten through high school. You do not have to be a member of our church or any other church to attend. Since the program lasts just an hour, we encourage the parents to stay with the elementary children to see what they are learning.
We are having a concert on Sunday, the 13th, at 6 PM. The quartet is "Adoration" with Ray Heilman, a former member here, along with Phil Jared, Gary Bricken, and Ryan Sharp. We will collect a love offering that evening for the group. All are welcome for an enjoyable evening of Christian music.
Next is our movie night on Friday, the 18th. Doors open at 5:30, and the movie begins at 6 PM. BBQ, Coleslaw, and Baked Beans will be provided. You may bring your choice of snack to share. We will have drinks available. This reporter hears the movie is especially appealing to the guys. You may also bring your own patio or beach chair, beanbag, or something else to sit on. We have plenty of folding chairs for everyone's use.
Then, on Saturday the 19th, we are joining together to do a little fall cleaning and get ready for our Fall Festival coming on October 17th. We have lots to do, and with lots of people to help, we can get done in no time. Wait until you hear about our Fall Festival! Read all about it next month.

An Invitation to Sunday Morning Bible Study
What is Sunday Morning Bible Study? This is a time for training; building up the knowledge that you need to bring the Good News to those around you. This training will help you build up the courage you need to do the work that the LORD has for you. He has given each of you a talent. As adults and children grow in Sunday Morning Bible Study, they receive the courage, confidence, and security from God that is needed to do the works that He has for them throughout their life. It is a time for discussions, discoveries, and just getting to know and love each other. Join us in this training for the LORD. Bring your children, neighbors, and other family members. Let's train them for the ways of the LORD.
